telc German A2 is a general language test for all age groups who have attended approximately 250-300 hours of lessons. At level A2 you can easily communicate in typical everyday situations and have short conversations. You can use simple grammatical structures correctly. We recommend telc German A2 + Job as an exam for professional purposes.

At level A1, you can easily communicate about specific needs (e.g. introduce yourself, eat and drink, shop, live). You can use some very simple grammatical structures. telc German A1 is an exam for everyone who has attended about 100-150 hours of lessons.

Registration for the exam takes place after full payment of the exam fee.
Registration is binding, cannot be canceled or transferred to another person.
This also applies to not appearing on the exam day.
The exam begins at 9:00 a.m. We recommend that you show up 30 minutes in advance to avoid being late.
The written part will take about 3 hours and the oral part will take about 20 minutes. Please do not set any further dates on the day of the exam, as an end time cannot be specified.
Please bring a pencil, sharpener and eraser (other writing utensils or similar are not permitted) and your valid identity card / residence permit to the exam.
Note: Registration for the exam is binding; cancellation is only possible up to 14 days before the exam. The cancellation fee is € 50. A later cancellation is no longer possible and cannot be transferred to another person. This also applies to not appearing on the exam day.
Please note:
- The use of aids (notes, dictionaries, telephone, smartwatches or watches with storage, etc.) is not permitted.
- You have to work independently and (no copying, no communication between participants during the written exam, etc.)
- You don’t get extra time for the sub-parts of the exam (written and oral). You have to stick to the given times
- Violation of the examination rules and the examination procedure leads to exclusion from the examination
